Senior Software Engineer I - Stream Processing - Kafka & Flink

Design, architect, implement, and operate Wise’s stream processing systems on AWS to enable real-time transfer processing. Build and support pipelines and tooling that power millisecond decision-making for validation, fraud detection, and anti-money laundering checks, plus data movement into the data lake. Collaborate with product engineers to apply best practices and iterate on distributed services with a focus on availability, security, and ease of use, using technologies like Flink, Kafka Streams, Iceberg, and Kubernetes operators.
