Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a subject matter expert across functional areas such as trading/stock/cash operations, option and OCC operations, corporate actions, and trade reporting.
  • •Develop and maintain desk procedures, controls, and operating standards; identify opportunities to improve daily processing efficiency.
  • •Execute and oversee core clearing and asset servicing activities, including trade break resolution, margin calls, journals, corporate actions/dividends, ACATS, statements, confirmations, proxy delivery, and position/cash reconciliations.
  • •Analyze operational errors, trends, and exceptions to identify root causes, control gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • •Partner with Development and Technology to translate operational requirements into technical specifications and support automation/system enhancements, testing, and UAT.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • •4+ years of relevant experience in brokerage, clearing, settlement, or asset servicing operations.
  • •Experience working in a clearing omnibus or self-clearing environment.
  • •Working knowledge of options clearing and OCC processes (exercises, assignments, expirations, and position settlement).
  • •Series 7 or Series 99 license (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
