Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake numerical analysis to assist with the study of dams and reservoirs using specialist software.
  • •Keep up-to-date with regulatory legislation and guidelines affecting design work.
  • •Carry out research and apply theoretical knowledge to new situations, supporting continuous improvement in project delivery.
  • •Undertake feasibility studies appraising alternative solutions, including performance, health and safety, cost, and environmental benefits.
  • •Prepare designs, drawings, specifications and contracts, write reports and presentations, and join site visits for dam inspections.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field (e.g., geology, geotechnics, structures).
  • •Master’s degree in relevant subjects is an advantage.
  • •Water-related modules or relevant work experience is an advantage.
  • •Strong technical proficiency and enthusiasm with strong curiosity and research skills.
  • •Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
