Key Responsibilities

•Drive conception, prototyping, and deployment of machine learning models across multiple product lines, especially NLP and recommender systems.
•Leverage AWS/Azure ecosystems, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code to build and maintain scalable, production-ready AI systems.
•Own the end-to-end lifecycle from data ingestion and model training through deployment, monitoring for performance drift, and iteration.
•Supervise 1–3 AI engineers (and occasionally flex contributors), mentoring and guiding teams on coding best practices and model development.
•Ensure AI deliverables are well-documented, reproducible, and monitored for performance and data integrity while aligning with governance and compliance requirements, including student data privacy.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, or related field.
•6+ years of related experience (or equivalent education and experience).
•Experience designing and deploying machine learning models, especially NLP and recommender systems, using Python and common ML libraries.
•Proficiency with AWS and Azure plus Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform to build scalable, secure environments.
•Ability to supervise 1–3 AI engineers and provide guidance on coding best practices and model development.
