Job Summary

Partner with enterprise leadership to execute corporate development initiatives across M&A, divestitures, joint ventures, capital investments, and commercial partnerships. Own key parts of the transaction lifecycle from strategic planning and valuation through due diligence, deal structuring, negotiation, and post-project review. Build complex financial models, conduct market research, coordinate cross-functional due diligence support, and draft executive and board-ready materials to inform investment decisions and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•Screen investment opportunities by building complex financial models and performing industry research to identify synergies, scenarios, risks, opportunities, and enterprise impacts.
•Draft executive and board presentations that summarize financial and strategic merits to support investment recommendations and negotiation strategies.
•Facilitate and track due diligence across risk identification/mitigation, business integration/separation, and coordination of internal/external resources.
•Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating definitive agreements and other transaction documents, including valuation adjustments and disclosure schedules.
•Support the transaction process through continuous improvement, consultative guidance to business teams, and ad hoc market research; maintain deal trackers and industry contact lists.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
•2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, transaction advisory, or M&A and divestiture.
•Knowledge of and direct application of GAAP.
•Proficient with MS Office tools and advanced Excel (financial modeling, data management, complex formulas).
•Industry experience in energy, agriculture, or other commodities business.
