Job Summary

Lead the design and development of scalable, secure backend systems for enterprise-grade applications, guiding Spring Boot microservices and distributed, cloud-native architectures. You’ll mentor developers, perform code reviews, enforce quality with unit testing, and optimize performance by identifying bottlenecks. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, QA, DevOps, architects, and security to translate requirements into maintainable implementations and support reliable deployment and post-production operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Guide the design and development of scalable, reliable, high-performance Spring Boot applications and microservices.
•Write high-quality code, perform code reviews, and mentor junior developers to enforce code quality and scalability standards.
•Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to define objectives and ensure seamless integration of backend solutions.
•Debug and resolve complex technical and production issues, proactively identify performance bottlenecks, and ensure resilient, secure operation.
•Lead backend team growth through onboarding, knowledge sharing, participation in design reviews, and driving engineering best practices and improvements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; certification in cloud (GCP) is a plus.
•7 to 10 years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years as a Lead Backend Developer or equivalent leadership role.
•Proven experience designing and delivering backend solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.
•Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with global teams.
•Deep expertise in Java (8+), Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data) and building microservices with Spring Cloud and RESTful APIs; familiarity with testing and performance tools (JUnit, Mockito, Locust, NeoLoad).
