Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the Clinical Governance strategy, vision, and operational plan, including budget planning and execution timelines.
  • •Establish governance policies, procedures, and standards aligned to regulatory and accreditation requirements; report progress to senior management.
  • •Maintain clinical risk registers, run risk assessments, oversee mitigation actions, and ensure incident investigations with learning outcomes and corrective action plans.
  • •Govern and oversee clinical guidelines development, review, implementation, dissemination, compliance monitoring, and continuous improvement.
  • •Lead audits and compliance activities with MOH and clinical standards, analyze clinical data to identify trends, and represent the department in internal leadership meetings and external forums.

Key Requirements

  • •Medical degree (MBBS) with an active medical license in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, plus board certification in a primary care specialty by SCFHS or equivalent.
  • •Minimum 10 years of experience practicing as a Consultant in a hospital setting.
  • •Expertise in clinical risk management, incident investigation, and root cause analysis (RCA) methodologies.
  • •Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards/compliance requirements (MOH, CBAHI, JCI).
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English, with experience using Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare quality management systems.
