Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide L2 BAU support for network and security operations, proactively monitoring, investigating, and resolving medium-complexity incidents to restore services within SLAs.
  • •Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto, FortiGate, Checkpoint), perimeter defenses, VPN gateways, and internal segmentation.
  • •Deploy and maintain security features including IPS/IDS, URL filtering, vulnerability protection, Wildfire, and DLP; implement remediation plans for vulnerabilities.
  • •Handle L2 configuration and support for load balancers (high availability, traffic steering, WAF, SSL offloading) and maintain fault-tolerant multi–data center infrastructure.
  • •Support change management and shift handovers: audit tickets for quality, escalate to CoE as needed, collaborate with automation teams, and assist with disaster recovery activities when required.

Key Requirements

  • •5–7+ years in network and security operations, including 4+ years managing Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls in enterprise or BFSI environments.
  • •Hands-on experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto, FortiGate, Checkpoint) across data centers and branches.
  • •Strong networking fundamentals including routing/switching (especially BGP) and maintaining redundant, fault-tolerant infrastructure.
  • •Knowledge of VPN gateways and protocols (IPSec, SSL VPN, remote access) to ensure secure access and segmentation.
  • •Experience with security capabilities such as IPS/IDS, URL filtering, vulnerability protection, Wildfire, and DLP, plus incident response and remediation.
