Job Summary

Support and configure Manufacturing Execution Systems (CMES and Velocity) to enable factory production for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Partner with IT and factory stakeholders to investigate and resolve business process, technical, and configuration issues, including backend system/table interactions. Maintain expertise in integrations, limitations, and control policies, manage user access control and audits, and create training/user guides for CMES/Velocity users and compliance needs.

•Provide critical support and configuration management for CMES and Velocity to enable factory production.
•Investigate and resolve CMES/Velocity business process, technical, and configuration issues in collaboration with IT and factory stakeholders.
•Manage expertise in CMES/Velocity system integrations, limitations, and control policies to support improvements and future development.
•Develop and maintain user guides, tipsheets, and training content for CMES/Velocity user access provisioning and audits.
•Manage user access control and perform user audits of CMES/Velocity role permissions in line with Boeing data security policies and compliance needs.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), specifically Velocity and/or CMES, in a manufacturing, quality, or production engineering role; or 5+ years supporting end users with Velocity/CMES.
•Ability to investigate business process, technical, and configuration issues for CMES/Velocity in partnership with IT and factory stakeholders.
•Experience interacting with backend systems and tables to resolve CMES/Velocity technical and configuration issues.
•Customer service oriented with strong verbal and writing communication skills.
•Proficiency with MS Suite (MS365, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience developing training content/user guides is preferred.
