Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, build, and operate platform components behind behavioral data and experimentation infrastructure.
  • •Build well-modeled, high-quality data pipelines for analytics, experimentation analysis, and self-serve insight at scale.
  • •Own reliability and scalability of data platform components, including schema governance, event standards, lineage, and data quality checks.
  • •Extend and evolve the semantic layer by partnering with domain teams to federate metric definitions.
  • •Instrument, monitor, and continuously improve systems in production while collaborating with product managers, product analysts, and data scientists.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of work experience as a Data Engineer delivering production data, including 2+ years on data platform systems such as semantic layers, catalogs, and schema/governance.
  • •Fluency in Python and dbt, and building large-scale, high-quality data pipelines on a modern cloud stack.
  • •Strong SQL skills for retrieving, manipulating, and analyzing large datasets.
  • •Experience with software development practices and tools such as Git and CI/CD, plus AWS.
  • •Hands-on experience leveraging AI tooling (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) for development and day-to-day work.
