•Review and decide small business loan applications for high-dollar and complex loans, providing credit recommendations based on underwriting criteria.
•Spread financial statements and perform global cash flow and balance sheet analysis for small-business healthcare loans up to $2 million.
•Prepare written borrower evaluations covering financial condition, future outlook, risks, and mitigation; identify and review due diligence items.
•Collaborate with the sales team to develop loan structures that meet customer needs and adhere to the organization’s risk appetite.
•Mentor credit analysts and communicate loan decisions to loan originators; negotiate loan terms and recommend process/software improvements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 71,100 - 145,900 annually

Key Requirements

•2+ years in underwriting, portfolio monitoring, or similar business loan analysis.
•Basic knowledge of commercial lending and credit standards, policies, procedures, and products.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Access, Word, and Excel.
•Attention to detail, plus excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
•College degree in accounting, finance, or economics is preferred.
