Job Summary

Provide material quality leadership for On's Apparel & Accessories, upholding global quality standards, implementing testing processes, and tracking metrics that ensure premium material quality and peak performance across the A&A product range. Partner with product creation, sourcing, and suppliers to identify material quality risks, drive data-driven testing plans, and communicate findings to cross-functional teams while ensuring regulatory compliance and educating the broader team on quality best practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with product creation teams, sourcing offices, and suppliers to identify and mitigate material quality risks before manufacturing, and support remediation material quality issues in bulk production.
•Drive the collection, interpretation, and communication of material testing data (3rd party, T2, and Internal).
•Identify opportunities for quality improvements as they relate to material/trim development and specialized testing.
•Maximize information availability and optimize the translation of product range + material specifications to a seasonal testing plan.
•Build and maintain partnerships with third-party testing agencies to ensure on-time results and to facilitate understanding of testing, compliance, and regulatory expectations.

Key Requirements

•4+ years’ experience in materials quality, materials development, or textile production.
•Extensive knowledge of textile fibers and production processes (spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, finishing) and standard test methods for quality testing.
•Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret large datasets and identify quality improvements.
•Excellent verbal and written communication to collaborate with global partners and convey complex information clearly.
•Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple short- and long-term projects and global exposure to sourcing and development.
