Job Summary

Partner with operations to analyze manufacturing processes and eliminate hazards through environmental, health, and safety (EHS) guidance. Serve as a strong on-the-floor presence (70–80%) coaching teams, investigating incidents, and driving corrective/preventative actions. Coordinate EHS programs with area EHS leadership, deliver training and onboarding, perform safety compliance assessments, and provide technical guidance on environmental policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide a strong on-the-floor presence (70–80%) coaching management, supervisors, and employees to observe, understand, and correct unsafe behaviors and conditions.
•Investigate incidents and establish corrective and preventative action plans to eliminate hazards and mitigate risk using the company’s Incident Management System (IMS).
•Coordinate with the Area EHS Manager to keep EHS programs updated and ensure management systems track implementation.
•Deliver health and safety training, including new hire onboarding with classroom training and competency in-field testing.
•Conduct periodic operations assessments for safety compliance, document findings, set timelines with local management, and track action items to completion.

Key Requirements

•1+ years in EHS and/or manufacturing with EHS responsibility.
•Extensive knowledge of OSHA CFR 1910.
•Ability to communicate effectively across departments and work with administrative, production, and technical personnel.
•Detailed working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to research regulatory/industry web content.
•Valid driver’s license and willingness to attend required Train-the-Trainer courses (crane/rigging, powered industrial vehicle, walking working surface, First Aid/CPR/AED).
