Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide day-to-day technical direction, coaching, and task coordination for Field Quality Technicians supporting vehicle investigations and validation activities.
  • •Lead advanced diagnosis and complex investigations across electrical, powertrain, chassis, body, thermal, infotainment, connectivity, and software-related systems.
  • •Support root cause investigations with Field Quality Engineers and validate containment and permanent corrective actions, engineering changes, repair procedures, and software releases.
  • •Coordinate support for campaigns, containment initiatives, fleet monitoring, launch activities, and escalated field concerns, including road tests and functional evaluations.
  • •Ensure safe, consistent diagnostic methods and high-quality documentation, and serve as a primary technical point of contact for technical status, risks, findings, and support needs.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED.
  • •Automotive technician degree, certification, or equivalent work experience.
  • •Seven years of automotive diagnostics, repair, quality, testing, or technical investigation experience.
  • •Demonstrated experience leading technical work, coordinating shop or investigation activities, mentoring technicians, or serving as a senior technical resource.
  • •Knowledge of vehicle electrical and mechanical systems and diagnostic methodologies, including ability to diagnose complex concerns using scan tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and related diagnostic tools.
