Job Summary

Lead the Northern Latin America tax agenda, with primary focus on Mexico and Colombia, while acting as the strategic partner between Tax, Finance, Accounting, Legal, and global teams. Ensure regional entities’ tax compliance by tracking regulatory changes and assessing business impacts. Coordinate external advisors and tax audits/inspections, manage VAT/ISR/ICA and related taxes, and support planning, reorganizations, integrations, expansion, and executive reporting.

•Lead the Northern Latin America tax agenda, focusing on Mexico and Colombia.
•Serve as the main point of contact among Tax, Finance, Accounting, Legal, and global teams.
•Ensure tax compliance by monitoring regulatory changes and evaluating impacts to the business.
•Coordinate external advisors, tax audits, tax inspections, and responses to local tax authorities.
•Manage taxes including VAT, ISR, ICA, identify tax risks, recommend mitigations, and improve controls/governance while supporting planning and corporate initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Complete higher education in Accounting, Economics, Administration, Law, or related fields.
•Solid knowledge of international and Latin American taxes, especially Mexico and Colombia tax legislation.
•Experience in tax compliance, audits, tax inspections, and engagement with tax authorities.
•Advanced/fluency Spanish and English with strong ability to interact in a global environment.
•Strong communication, negotiation, organization, and ability to manage multiple demands and stakeholders simultaneously.
