Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive a mechanics truck to various job sites to repair machinery and equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot and maintain heavy equipment, including reclaimers, milling machines, loaders, graders, dozers, pavers, rollers, dump trucks, and related equipment.
  • •Examine equipment and discuss damage or malfunctions with shop foreman, operator, or project manager.
  • •Plan work procedures and solutions such as part redesign, material/part substitution, and rearrangement of parts or subassemblies.
  • •Perform preventative maintenance and adhere to applicable DOT, OSHA, and MSHA (or other) regulations.
