Job Summary

Develop and optimize savoury snack seasonings and noodle flavour systems for the Middle East market, from bench concepts through customer trials to commercial scale-up. Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations to turn customer briefs and trend insights into cost-competitive, regulation-compliant taste solutions. Lead sensory evaluation, formulation management, and R&D documentation, and provide technical support during plant trials and commercialization.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop cost-competitive snack seasonings using flavour expertise to meet business and customer requirements.
•Design and develop seasoning systems for extruded snacks, potato chips, nuts, crackers, puffed snacks, and noodles.
•Conduct bench-scale trials and sensory evaluations, performing iterative optimization to hit taste, texture, colour, cost, and regulatory targets.
•Translate customer briefs and trend insights into commercially viable seasoning concepts; maintain raw material library.
•Support commercialization by providing technical support during customer plant trials and driving new product development from concept through factory scale-up.

Key Requirements

•B. Tech or M.Sc. in Food Science/Technology (or equivalent).
•2–4 years hands-on experience in snack seasoning formulation, noodle flavour development, or savoury flavour applications.
•Solid understanding of dry seasoning systems, including spice blending, flavour release, coating adhesion, and Maillard/process flavour interactions.
•Proficiency in sensory evaluation and clear documentation of flavour profiles.
•Strong project management and communication skills, with ability to manage multiple briefs; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
