Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure comprehensive and safe patient care by mitigating risks and meeting clinical quality standards.
  • •Manage the client experience in the unit.
  • •Provide direct patient care and ensure optimal nursing record keeping, assessment, and nursing care plan development.
  • •Empower and build staff competence through continuous assessment and development, including mentorship to new and student nurses.

Key Requirements

  • •Professional Nurse qualification and, where managing a specialist unit, a Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing.
  • •3+ years of Professional Nurse experience in a hospital.
  • •1 year mentor experience.
  • •Pharmacology knowledge and nursing processes/procedures, including infection prevention and control.
  • •Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and ability to maintain nursing records and patient audit documentation.
