Repair and maintain mobile equipment used at Concrete Ready Mix plants, including ready mix trucks, front end loaders, and trailers. Work under the Senior Mechanic with a 60/40 split between shop and mobile repairs. Key Responsibilities

•Repair mobile equipment including ready mix trucks, front end loaders, and trailers, with a 60/40 shop vs. mobile repair split.
•Diagnose malfunctions by observing and listening to equipment in operation and using diagnostic software.
•Read manuals and perform repairs and maintenance across electrical systems, power transmissions, brakes, drivelines, and other automotive systems.
•Perform welding, repair, and fabrication as needed, including replacing rollers and wear items.
•Follow safety policies and procedures, participate in the shop safety program, and conduct tailgate safety meetings.

Key Requirements

•Perform repairs on mobile equipment (ready mix trucks, front end loaders, trailers) under the Senior Mechanic’s direction.
•Use diagnostic software, manuals, and hand/power tools to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, power transmissions, brakes, drivelines, and related automotive systems.
•Replace rollers and other wear items as required and perform welding, repair, and fabrication.
•Maintain accurate documentation by performing data entry on all services performed.
•Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent GED and have at least 2 years of mobile equipment maintenance experience (ready mix maintenance preferred).
