Job Summary

Lead Symetra’s Life Insurance distribution strategy within the NMO channel, driving profitable growth, market expansion, and producer engagement. Manage a national sales organization and develop scalable capabilities while strengthening strategic distribution partnerships. Serve as the NMO channel voice for Life Insurance leadership, partnering across Operations, Underwriting, Product, Marketing, Technology, Licensing & Contracting, Compliance, and Customer Service to improve distributor experience and execute multi-year growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute the multi-year growth plan and lead annual business plans, sales objectives, and growth strategies for the NMO life insurance channel.
•Drive sales growth, market expansion, producer engagement, and distribution partner development to increase market penetration.
•Lead a national sales organization and build a culture of accountability, collaboration, coaching, and performance excellence.
•Serve as executive sponsor for key NMO partners, supporting producer activation, recruitment, productivity, and product adoption.
•Partner across enterprise functions to improve distributor experience, translate feedback into strategic initiatives, and represent the NMO channel in leadership discussions.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

•15+ years of insurance or financial services experience, including significant life insurance distribution experience.
•10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including leading sales organizations in NMO/IMO or related channels.
•Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships and deliver sustained sales growth.
•Experience managing field sales, internal sales, relationship management, and sales support organizations within a multi-channel distribution environment.
•Advanced degree and/or designations such as CLU, ChFC, or CFP, and FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 licenses (or ability to obtain after hire).
