Job Function: Energy & Utilities Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • •Estimate, cost plan, procure, and provide cost assurance for QS/Cost and Commercial Management on projects of varying size and complexity.
  • •Deliver QS/commercial management services and, where applicable, lead a QS/commercial team, including mentoring staff and potential bid writing.
  • •Engage with clients and project teams, representing WSP UK at industry events and contributing to project controls and governance.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Civil Infrastructure and Utilities to deliver building and infrastructure projects.
  • •Travel to project locations as required and adapt to flexible/ hybrid working arrangements.

Key Requirements

  • •MRICS or Assoc RICS or working towards a professional qualification.
  • •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • •Ability to demonstrate applicable QS/Cost and Commercial competencies as required by professional institutions.
  • •Demonstrated management, project leadership and delivery experience at senior level (where applicable).
  • •Familiarity with CostX and CEMAR; working knowledge of NEC Contracts and other industry standard contract forms.
