Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a team of inspectors reviewing contractors’ workmanship, materials, and equipment for conformity with construction contract requirements.
  • •Maintain lists of defects and omissions and reconcile Non-Conformance Notice and Open Issues Log.
  • •Monitor contractors’ quality programs for conformance to the plan throughout construction and notify client of test failures and corrective actions.
  • •Perform punchlist oversight and participate in Zero Defect walkthroughs while summarizing significant test results in progress reports.
  • •Witness selected tests, verify test results (including retesting when required), retain test records, and coordinate client outage/shutdown procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 6 years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • •Preferred: 15 years of experience with construction and/or quality management.
  • •CQM or other professional certifications.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture.
  • •Ability to perform quality assurance activities including test witnessing and verification of results as scheduled.
