Job Summary

Support the library administration by providing timely inputs on operational plans, initiatives, and programs. Assist with reviewing objectives and performance indicators, preparing and tracking execution plans, and producing progress reports and presentation decks. Help review business reports, update department methodologies and policies, document meeting minutes, and track decisions. Monitor service quality improvements, compliance with global Star system standards, and coordinate follow-ups across departments.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide timely inputs on operational plans and initiatives to ensure strategy and operating plan requirements are met.
•Participate in reviewing goals, initiatives, and KPIs to enable execution of the operating plan for public libraries.
•Prepare and monitor execution of the department’s operating plan to maintain alignment with the authority’s objectives.
•Assist in preparing progress reports and presentation materials for management, including improvement proposals.
•Attend meetings, prepare and document minutes, and follow up on implemented decisions and recommendations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or Library and Information Science.
•2+ years of relevant practical experience.
•Assist in reviewing objectives, initiatives, and performance indicators for programs tied to activating the library operating plan.
•Prepare and follow up execution of the department’s operating plan, ensuring alignment with the authority’s goals.
•Review and update department methodologies and policies according to applicable regulations.
