  • •Lead and manage a team to establish and implement sourcing strategies aligned to AP and site goals.
  • •Develop long-term commodity strategies and identify opportunities to leverage common commodities across India and other PRM sites to improve cost and service performance.
  • •Maintain tracking mechanisms for material costs and drive data-backed cost reduction initiatives by product line.
  • •Review supplier performance (lead time, service level, quality), run periodic business reviews, and initiate improvement programs to close gaps and manage supply risks.
  • •Evaluate, prioritize, and drive procurement projects (NPD, regionalization, localization, cost containment, and risk mitigation) with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution through production readiness, while standardizing processes and developing talent.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering.
  • •10+ years of products sourcing experience in die casting, sand casting, stamping, machining, springs, investment castings, molded rubber, custom molded plastics, or valves in a multinational company.
  • •8+ years’ experience in a managerial capacity in an MNC with proven track record.
  • •Prior people management experience.
  • •Excellent negotiation and project management skills; strong accountability and result-driven leadership; familiarity with ISO9001 and ISO14001 is preferred.
