As a Construction Materials Testing Technician II, you will perform field inspections and observations on commercial, industrial, and transportation construction projects, testing concrete per ASTM/ACI standards, evaluating subgrades, and interpreting drawings. You’ll prepare written field reports, monitor procedures, liaise with client representatives, and help ensure safety and quality across multiple site environments.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform testing on general building sites and facilities.
•Interpret project plans and specifications for compliance with project requirements.
•Perform sampling and testing of concrete in accordance with ASTM and project specifications and ACI Concrete Standards.
•Prepare and submit written field reports summarizing daily activities/observations and density calculations and results.
•Monitor work procedures for compliance with project specifications.

Key Requirements

•3+ years Construction Materials Testing experience either on commercial/industrial construction projects with emphasis on concrete testing and inspections.
•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•ACI Field Level I certification (concrete sampling and field testing).
•ICC Soils or Equivalent.
•Troxler or equivalent certification.
