Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver accurate project cost reports and dashboards showing budgets, commitments, expenditures, actual costs, and emerging trends.
  • •Contribute to forecasts, including Estimate at Completion and Estimate to Complete, by validating data and identifying cost variances.
  • •Maintain cost baselines, approved budget changes, documentation, and traceable records within project controls systems to strengthen governance.
  • •Partner with project managers, planners, finance partners, engineers, and technical teams to connect cost control with scheduling and performance reporting.
  • •Produce Excel tracking tools and support Power BI reporting, and drive continuous improvement through cost reviews and mentorship.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 66,700 - 88,400 annually

Key Requirements

  • •A diploma, bachelor's degree, or equivalent education in engineering, project management, finance, business administration, construction management, or a related discipline.
  • •Foundational experience in project controls, cost control, project administration, finance, construction, engineering consulting, or comparable project-based work.
  • •Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost baselines, variance analysis, and project performance reporting across the project lifecycle.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reconciliation, tracking, and reporting; experience with Power BI is an asset.
  • •Familiarity with InEight, Oracle, or comparable project controls systems, and an understanding of Earned Value Management concepts is an asset.
