Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to regulatory filings by providing technical expertise, analysis, and recommended approaches; draft comments, testimony, exhibits, and other documentation.
•Provide regulatory consulting to internal departments by researching and analyzing sources to identify trends and suggest solutions for business and regulatory requirements.
•Contribute to regulatory strategy by researching industry practices and company history to prepare analyses, including financial models and responses to data requests.
•Compile and analyze data for regulatory reports and provide input on basic compliance issues.
•Draft responses to data requests and interact with regulatory staff and stakeholders, representing the company in regulatory proceedings and maintaining professional relationships.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, business or related field, or equivalent experience.
•Typically, two or more years in a related field.
•Excellent writing skills with strong sentence structure and argument formulation for clear communication.
•Understanding of state, federal and energy policy and the ability to spot issues and write up findings.
•Can apply basic project management practices to work assigned and assist others with these practices.
