Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform tasks assigned by the supervisor associated with day-to-day grain elevator operations under supervision.
  • •Stand and wait for trucks to enter and exit dump pits while unloading.
  • •Walk, handle materials, and support unloading activities, including using tools such as brooms and scoops.
  • •Use a computer to load/unload trucks and when loading rail cars.
  • •Support safe performance of physical activities such as lifting rail car lids, opening trailer doors/latches, and reaching/gripping while operating.
