Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect and implement solutions enabling internal and external customers to leverage ByteDance’s globally scaled content delivery network.
  • •Build metrics, tools, automation, visualizations, and monitoring systems for operating and optimizing edge services.
  • •Develop procedures and workflows that improve efficiency, trust, and compliance across operational processes.
  • •Conduct vulnerability and capacity assessments and develop disaster recovery strategies for high availability of global CDN services.
  • •Participate in technical operations and on-call rotations to respond to performance and reliability issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently pursuing an Undergraduate Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • •Proficient in one or more programming languages (Java, C++, Go) or scripting languages (Shell, Python).
  • •Experience operating in a multi-CDN environment.
  • •Knowledge of networking technologies such as TCP/IP, BGP, and DNS in carrier-grade environments; prior CDN experience is a plus.
  • •Experience designing, analyzing, and building automation and tools for large-scale systems.
