Job Summary

Lead Applied Materials’ ESMC Germany site for the TSMC global account, managing a Customer Engineering team and owning site responsibility for customer satisfaction, P&L, and budget. Adapt business plans to address operational challenges, define performance metrics, and ensure the organization delivers customer service commitments and solutions to high-value customer problems. Provide technical guidance and drive employee development and satisfaction while serving as the primary operational interface for account services.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage professional Customer Engineers for the TSMC global account site in Dresden, Germany, and be accountable for team performance and results.
•Adapt business unit and site/sub-function plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
•Direct ESMC Germany business issues across the account site, including customer satisfaction, P&L, and budget management.
•Ensure delivery of customer service commitments and develop/implement solutions to address customers’ high-value problems.
•Define performance metrics, report progress against goals, and oversee workforce capability, employee development, and employee satisfaction.

Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

•15+ years of experience in semiconductors field teams, preferably with an equipment supplier (vendor site) background and after-service business acumen.
•7+ years of people management experience, with preference for 2+ years as a site director/senior manager or experience leading multiple layers of an organization.
•Experience managing multiple sites and delivering operational performance across an after-service customer engineering function.
•Expertise in technical modules (e.g., PVD/CVD/ETCH/FEP/CMP/IMP) is welcome.
•Must have English and Chinese communication skills and comply with Applied Materials’ standards of business conduct.
