Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide professional and ethical family medicine clinical services in accordance with the Delineation of Privileges.
  • •Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care, and ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards.
  • •Maintain accurate medical records by collecting, recording, and updating patient information, including histories and examination results.
  • •Administer Executive Health Program examinations and order diagnostic laboratory and X-ray tests to determine diagnoses and prescribe applicable therapy and preventive medicine.
  • •Prescribe and administer treatments, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and specialized medical care; immunize patients; and refer patients to specialists when necessary while participating in continuing education and training.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience at Specialist level (independent of country).
  • •At least 1 year Specialist level experience from a Tier 1 country as specified by the UAE healthcare regulator.
  • •Basic medical degree and completion of a specialty qualification/education programme (fellowship/diploma) recognized by the relevant UAE healthcare authority.
  • •Certification and registration in a speciality recognized by the relevant UAE healthcare authority, with active and valid life support certification (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP).
  • •Eligibility for relevant healthcare authority registration (e.g., Royal College membership, Arab Board Certification, MS, DM, MPhil, or an equivalent recognized in UAE).
