Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect and prepare aircraft surfaces and component surfaces for painting.
  • •Remove surface coatings and light corrosion from aircraft or aircraft components.
  • •Apply paints and specialty coatings using methods such as spraying, rolling, and brushing.
  • •Apply stencils, decals, aircraft-specific markings, livery, and registrations; perform rectification work involving preparation and painting.
  • •Interpret and use aviation maintenance technical data (manuals, drawings, specifications) and complete required industry documentation to relevant regulations and quality procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 2 years’ experience in automotive or aircraft painting (preferred).
  • •Ability to demonstrate sound knowledge of quality assurance procedures (aviation procedures preferred).
  • •Excellent time management and proven ability to effectively manage self and others.
  • •Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • •Have or be able to apply for an ASIC card, and hold a valid driving licence (ability to obtain an Airside Drivers Licence).
