Key Responsibilities

  • •Review and approve material submittals for roads, pavements, stormwater systems, utilities, and related infrastructure projects.
  • •Conduct inspections and verify contractor/supplier QA/QC processes during procurement, delivery, installation, and implementation stages.
  • •Review and assess laboratory test reports (soils, aggregates, asphalt, concrete, pipes, geotextiles) for performance suitability and compliance.
  • •Investigate material failures/defects, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions when materials fail specifications.
  • •Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and testing laboratories, and maintain approval/inspection/testing documentation and technical reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •5-8 years of relevant experience in materials engineering, quality assurance, or construction supervision.
  • •Experience working on municipal infrastructure, roadworks/highways, and stormwater/transportation projects.
  • •Experience reviewing laboratory testing and material compliance reports for construction materials (asphalt, concrete, aggregate, soil, utilities).
  • •Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification, plus relevant material testing/pavement/quality certifications (preferred).
