Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide age-specific, patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process.
  • •Perform patient assessments and continual critical care assessment of patient and family physical and psychological needs.
  • •Involve patients and healthcare providers in the plan of care when appropriate; collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • •Coordinate and plan critical care/clinical pathway and revise the care plan as necessary; initiate appropriate transfer plan.
  • •Assist with breast procedures including ultrasound-guided core biopsy and lymph node biopsy, stereotactic biopsy, breast FNA, seed placement, and wire localization.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in nursing (minimum three (3) years full-time course duration) or a Nursing degree (minimum two (2) years course duration) and Registration as a Registered Nurse from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand, or Australia.
  • •Minimum two (2) years of recent post-graduate experience in a Breast Care setting.
  • •Must hold a valid License/Registration to practice in their home country and/or country of last employment (where applicable).
  • •Must hold a minimum valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or others according to the scope of practice; Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is essential.
  • •Knowledge and ability to render care based on age-appropriate and developmental needs; skills in assessment and coordination/planning of care.
