Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct detailed PMCS on US Military UTVs to identify wear, damage, or deficiencies per TM/IM guidelines.
  • •Perform advanced diagnostics on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and driveline systems using specialized tools and test equipment.
  • •Execute corrective maintenance and component replacement to restore full operational capability.
  • •Document inspections, maintenance actions, and parts usage in required systems (e.g., GCSS-MC or local logs) and advise supervisors on readiness-impacting issues.
  • •Interpret engineering drawings and system schematics, mentor junior technicians on PMCS/safety, and support fielding, upgrades, and configuration changes.

Key Requirements

  • •Interim DoD Secret clearance required (active DoD Secret clearance preferred).
  • •High school diploma or GED with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • •Strong proficiency in ground vehicle PMCS on US Military tactical or utility vehicles.
  • •Ability to perform technical troubleshooting using systematic diagnostic processes.
  • •Familiarity with maintenance publications/forms and reporting systems (GCSS-MC experience preferred).
