Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a principal technical leader specializing in turbine module design, analysis, and sustainment for system-level solutions
  • •Provide clear technical direction for turbine hardware outsourcing activities, owning review, governance, and integration of supplier/partner engineering work
  • •Collaborate with CTS, MRO-E, and field service teams to interpret customer data, expand limits, update maintenance manual limits, and lead root-cause investigations
  • •Support operations by partnering with manufacturing, quality, and engineering support teams to address production issues, resolve nonconformances, and ensure delivery for engine assembly
  • •Represent turbines in cross-functional forums and design boards, providing engineering rationale and mentoring junior engineers

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • •8 years of mechanical design engineering or engineering experience, or an advanced degree with 5 years of engineering experience
  • •5 years of experience with hardware design using blueprints, dimensions, tolerances, or manufacturing methods
  • •Experience with GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
  • •English (read, write, speak) required for communication with customers, co-workers, or supervisors
