Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and/or manage a broad range of transport planning projects, including project team management, budgeting, programming, and technical excellence.
  • •Lead and support preparation of bids, fee proposals, and project programmes.
  • •Support senior colleagues to expand work with clients across the UK and secure/deliver work for a local client portfolio.
  • •Undertake technical review and checking of deliverables within the team.
  • •Support financial performance and contribute to commercial performance, including responsibility for the financial performance of projects and mentoring junior team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience working with local authorities on active travel, public transport, scheme development, transport studies, and transport strategies/appraisals.
  • •Experience developing transport-focused strategies, plans, and policies.
  • •Experience working with Local Authority and Combined Authority clients.
  • •Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects and tasks to meet deadlines.
  • •Project management experience, including reviewing client briefs/tenders and contributing to fee proposals and leading delivery.
