Job Summary

Support high-volume semiconductor manufacturing by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing production equipment. Use mechanical, electrical, and systems diagnostics to reduce downtime, improve tool availability, and support equipment setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance. Monitor and analyze tool performance data, coordinate with suppliers for complex repairs, and partner with Engineering and Construction during factory ramps, installations, and equipment conversions while documenting all work and failures.

Key Responsibilities

•Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and systems-related issues to minimize downtime and restore production operations.
•Perform advanced troubleshooting, dismantle/repair/adjust/install equipment, and execute setup, calibration, preventative maintenance, and qualification.
•Monitor, analyze, and interpret tool performance data and investigate equipment/module issues using data-driven analysis and controlled experimentation.
•Create and maintain reports and update equipment specifications and documentation to support long-term maintenance strategies.
•Partner with Module Engineering and Construction on factory expansions, tool installations, equipment conversions, and support manufacturing ramp readiness.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or equivalent) with 1-3 years of relevant technical experience, or an Associate of Science in a STEM-related field.
•Hands-on experience with hand tools and equipment for maintenance and repair, including experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
•Experience working in cleanroom environments and using PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
•Ability to lift 25-pound parts 1-2 times per shift (on average) and climb ladders 1-3 times per shift (on average).
•Standing and walking up to 80% of the workday.
