Key Responsibilities

  • •Support feasibility studies and prepare procurement reports.
  • •Prepare cost estimates and cost plans, including producing and presenting final cost plans.
  • •Support tendering and procurement activities, including managing pre-qualification, tender analysis, producing tender reports, and preparing contractual documentation.
  • •Manage post-contract cost variations and change control processes, including escalating significant changes.
  • •Produce and present monthly post-contract cost reports and negotiate and agree final accounts.

Key Requirements

  • •Good technical grounding in all main areas of cost management, with contractor background.
  • •Experience acting as Commission Manager on small to medium projects (or sufficient related experience to step up).
  • •Good knowledge of main procurement methods and how they apply to tactical procurement for small to medium-sized buildings.
  • •Knowledge and understanding of value engineering.
  • •Working towards Chartership, with a degree or HNC-level qualification.
