Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform mechanical design and analysis tasks, including work related to heat transfer.
  • •Support activities involving shock and vibration effects on product packaging.
  • •Contribute to verification and validation of products.
  • •Work with R&D teams across hardware and software organizations, collaborating with NI staff.
  • •Conduct research, and diagnose and debug technical challenges to complete project work.

Key Requirements

  • •Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar STEM field).
  • •Sophomore or above standing.
  • •Knowledge of fundamental mechanical design principles and processes, including heat transfer, tolerance analysis, and design of experiments.
  • •Knowledge of electromechanical design.
  • •Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
