Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, review, and maintain electrical systems including MCCs, transformers, switchgear, and motor protection systems.
  • •Oversee operation and maintenance of SX/EW and wellfield equipment such as rectifiers, electrolytic cells, pump motors, and agitation systems.
  • •Manage installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems for SX/EW and wellfield upgrades or expansions.
  • •Maintain and troubleshoot control systems including PLCs, SCADA, and HMI interfaces; develop and optimize automation sequences.
  • •Ensure compliance with electrical codes and mine safety protocols, participate in safety activities, and maintain documentation including drawings, asset registers, and technical reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • •Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering in mining, metallurgical, or heavy industrial environments.
  • •Direct experience with SX/EW plant operations is highly desirable.
  • •Proficiency in power systems, control systems, and industrial automation, including PLC/SCADA and HMI interfaces.
  • •Familiarity with electrical standards and safety codes (NEC, IEEE, MSHA, etc.) plus strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
