Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and order parts.
  • •Diagnose equipment issues using real-time data from hundreds of makes and models to determine root cause and corrective action.
  • •Perform safe repairs and preventive maintenance for power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Troubleshoot failures at the shop and at customer locations, and handle repairs; travel to customer job sites when required.
  • •Maintain complete daily electronic documentation, assist with setup/operation of equipment, support training of lower-level technicians, and help with pick-up/delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •Own tools applicable to the position and demonstrate advanced mechanical aptitude.
  • •Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Ability to calculate nominal/effective tonnage or kW requirements and read/know schematics.
  • •Strong customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •Valid driver’s license (acceptable driving record) and readiness to obtain EPA 608 certification within 6–12 months if not already certified.
