Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain key machinery and systems (pumps, motors, conveyors, compressors) and perform preventive checks to keep production running.
  • •Perform breakdown repairs quickly to minimize downtime and maintain efficient operations.
  • •Maintain a clean and safe facility, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, painting, cleaning, and grounds maintenance (e.g., mowing and snow removal).
  • •Ensure safety and compliance by following safety protocols, handling hazardous materials, performing safety checks, and meeting OSHA/EPA and health standards.
  • •Support installations and special projects, organize tools/parts/supplies, and assist with product transport across the plant and to external locations.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED plus 1+ years of related experience/training in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing maintenance; or 4 years’ direct experience in the same areas.
  • •Preferred: vocational diploma, technical diploma, or associate degree from a technical maintenance or vocational school.
  • •Ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with team personnel and outside contractors.
  • •Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial trucks (PIT).
  • •Ability to read and execute work orders, write daily reports, and translate equipment manuals.
