Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical leadership for Engineering (equipment design/modification/renewal) and Maintenance, and lead Process Technology (process design/optimization and quality improvement).
  • •Develop and evaluate CAPEX projects, including technical scope/ROI; lead technical aspects of new factory and large-scale manufacturing projects.
  • •Execute MOC and PSSR for new installations/modifications/decommissioning and run failure mode and impact analyses, including FMEA.
  • •Drive safety, quality, productivity improvements and recurrence prevention, using EHS-based technical reviews and corrective/preventive actions with Plant/QA/EHS.
  • •Lead manufacturing digitalization initiatives (MES/IoT), standardize and visualize manufacturing data for daily management, and develop/manage Engineering and Process Technology teams while coordinating with APAC/Global OT.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of Engineering/OT experience in process or material manufacturing industries.
  • •Strong, systematic knowledge and hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment, processes, and maintenance.
  • •Proven experience in capital investment, process improvement, and new product industrialization.
  • •Bachelor’s degree or higher in organic chemistry, applied chemistry, materials engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • •Business-level Japanese and working-level English for technical and business communication, plus project management experience.
