Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate atmosphere, vacuum, and hydrogen fluoride ion furnaces for coating, cleaning, and heat treating per written instructions.
  • •Mix coating powders and assemble heat treat coating batches based on alloy.
  • •Pack/unpack coated parts and maintain neat, orderly work areas.
  • •Program, monitor, and record furnace operating parameters, including charts, routing travelers, and traceability records in RFMS.
  • •Perform preventative and minor maintenance, setup and run temperature uniformity surveys, and troubleshoot furnace temperature issues.
