Job Summary

Operate conventional machining equipment (manual lathe, bores, milling and EDM) and perform dimensional inspections and bench repairs in an aerospace manufacturing environment. Interpret technical drawings, verify conformance with OEM specifications, and support production targets under supervision. Prior aircraft engine industry experience and rotating shift availability are required.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate various conventional machining equipment (manual lathe, bores, milling machine and EDM)
•Perform machining dimensional fits & clearance checks per OEM technical manuals (CIR, MM, SPM)
•Perform bench repair works such as blending, inserts & broken stud replacement
•Interpret machining dimensions & understand requirements from technical drawings
•Inspect work using measuring instruments (Micrometer, Vernier Caliper, Dial Indicator) to verify conformance to specifications

Key Requirements

•GCE O’/N’ level or equivalent with NITEC in Precision/Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering
•Prior experience in Aircraft Engine Industry
•Able to work weekly rotating shifts
•Machinist with conventional machining experience in the aviation industry is preferred
•Operate conventional machining equipment (manual lathe, bores, milling machine and EDM) and perform dimensional/GSM checks per OEM manuals
