Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate various conventional machining equipment (manual lathe, bores, milling machine and EDM)
  • •Perform machining dimensional fits & clearance checks per OEM technical manuals (CIR, MM, SPM)
  • •Perform bench repair works such as blending, inserts & broken stud replacement
  • •Interpret machining dimensions & understand requirements from technical drawings
  • •Inspect work using measuring instruments (Micrometer, Vernier Caliper, Dial Indicator) to verify conformance to specifications

Key Requirements

  • •GCE O’/N’ level or equivalent with NITEC in Precision/Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering
  • •Prior experience in Aircraft Engine Industry

  • •Machinist with conventional machining experience in the aviation industry is preferred
  • •Operate conventional machining equipment (manual lathe, bores, milling machine and EDM) and perform dimensional/GSM checks per OEM manuals
