Job Summary

Own and mature Airtable’s strategic sourcing and vendor negotiation operations. Lead complex commercial negotiations across software, SaaS, infrastructure, cloud, AI, and professional services contracts, while rationalizing the vendor portfolio and building durable leverage. Partner with FP&A to maintain a forward-looking procurement pipeline and serve as the primary procurement partner to Engineering, IT, Finance, and Legal. Coach a small team and drive procurement process improvements using Workday, Airtable, and AI tools.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead complex commercial negotiations across Airtable’s key software, SaaS, infrastructure, cloud, AI, and professional services contracts end-to-end.
•Manage and mature the vendor portfolio by rationalizing suppliers, maintaining negotiation continuity, and building durable commercial leverage.
•Partner with FP&A to build and maintain a forward-looking procurement pipeline, flagging renewals, pricing model changes, and commitment risk.
•Serve as the primary procurement partner to Engineering, IT, Finance, and Legal with structured cross-functional cadences and deal-cycle visibility.
•Coach a small team of procurement and sourcing specialists and drive improvements to procurement processes, controls, and systems using Workday, Airtable, and AI tools.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of procurement experience with depth in software, SaaS, cloud, and infrastructure deals.
•Independent track record leading high-stakes commercial negotiations, including structuring complex multi-year agreements with consumption-based or hybrid pricing models.
•Experience managing or developing procurement or sourcing professionals with a coaching orientation.
•Ability to operate as a finance and business partner, understanding impacts on budgets, accruals, and FP&A planning cycles.
•Fluency with modern procurement tools (intake, contract management, spend visibility) and experience using AI tooling for contract analysis and reporting.
