Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a defined commercial market. Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems on-site, coordinating with team leaders, project managers, and customers to meet installation and repair requirements. Use blueprints and engineering specifications along with hand tools and cutting-edge technology to diagnose and fix equipment. Maintain safety, asset accountability, and customer satisfaction, including occasional overtime, weekends, and overnight stays.

•Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs, including forecasting issues and gathering materials.
•Act as the direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by identifying, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Diagnose and repair units using software/technology, hand tools, and blueprints or engineering specifications.
•Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security and accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording usage and conditions.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent and typically 5+ years of HVAC experience; technical school or formal training is preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with a handheld computer (smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations in the past 3 years.
•EPA Certification.
•Use blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair HVAC units (via stated experience and training).
