Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver quality paediatric nursing care in collaboration with a multi-professional team.
  • •Identify, prevent, and manage risks to ensure patient safety.
  • •Facilitate a positive client experience by creating a conducive environment.
  • •Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
  • •Create a learning environment that builds staff competence and ensure stock and equipment are accurately charted.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma leading to registration as a General Nurse OR a 4-year Nursing Diploma/Bachelor of Nursing.
  • •Basic life support training, including ACLS, ATLS, and PALS for specialised wards.
  • •Computer literate with Microsoft Office.
  • •Ability to develop/modify nursing care plans and perform nursing processes and procedures.
  • •Competence in nursing record keeping, patient assessment, pharmacology, infection prevention and control, and risk identification.
