Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain drivers and low-level libraries for new chips, modules, and sensors.
  • •Own and improve the custom open-source RTOS hardware abstraction layer (Amslah), including architecture refinements as the system scales.
  • •Optimize custom sensor hardware and calibration infrastructure to be power efficient and survive extreme cold.
  • •Collaborate with R&D teams to improve the accuracy of meteorological measurements.
  • •Design fault-tolerant systems that recover from unexpected conditions and debug complex issues.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 33 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Experience programming, shipping, and maintaining hardware in a real-world setting.
  • •Fluency in C/C++ and Python, with comfort working close to hardware.
  • •Experience writing low-level drivers for various chips.
  • •Comfort reading PCB schematics and ideally having some EE background.
  • •Be able to form hypotheses and run experiments on system behavior, with strong debugging and communication skills.
